CONTACT In Uzbekistan – Mission: Possible

More then 60 representatives for the leading mass media and CONTACT-participating banks took part in the event.
- CONTACT System occupies leading position on Russian and CIS-countries money transfers markets and includes a forth of the Russian bank system, - Vice-president of RUSSLAVBANK Irina Shipilova says, introducing the System at the conference.
CONTACT has 614 servicing points at 174 localities of Uzbekistan. The System Network in the republic has increased more then thrice per annum 2007, while more then 9 million clients have used the System services (there are 1,3 million Uzbekistan citizenry among them).
Money transfers statistics, introduced by Irina Shipilova, has aroused participators’ keen interest. More then $400 mln has been transferred to Republic while $11 mln from it per annum 2007.
Finalizing her speech, Irina Shipilova has introduced System partner - International Labour Centre KONTAKT (LLC). Olga Poluliah, Company Managing director has answered participators’ and journalists’ questions.
The similar arrangements were hold in Samarqand, Bokhara, Fergana and Namangana cities.
